Since many years, Scientific Computers GmbH is a reliable partner for its customers. Our products as well our projects are used in all industrial sectors where capable IT solutions establish the basis for innovative development and service. Established in 1961 as a vendor of analogue computers, Scientific Computers GmbH has gone through some important phases of development in the almost 50 years of its existence. Already in the beginning of the 1980s, it established as a Europe-wide distributor for software technologies, having set standards in its special fields of the industry. The potential of the Internet technologies emerging at that time was eary identified and actively accompanied with products and services. Scientific Computers GmbH therefore became the first sales partner of Netscape Inc. in Europe, and in this way provided for the distribution of latest browser technology. Initiative and the right feeling for innovations are the precondition for long-term success in the rapid-changing IT market. Identifying and developing new markets forms the basis for growth and consistency. This sense for innovation and new markets time ang again helped Scientific Computers GmbH to establish new products or to develop new ideas. Thus, we are already heading the path to the development of new applications for mobile phone, iPad etc. This results in projects also in co-operation with renowned partners such as e.g. Daimler, Vodafone or Telekom Deutschland, providing for our customer's requests for mobility.
However, the customers with their requirements and goals are always is in the focus of our company. We are convinced that the orientation to the needs of the customer will ensure a beneficial partnership and business relation. Therefore, we have decided at an early stage, to spin off special technologies and areas of development to be able to further develop them in independent companies and to provide each of these fields with a dedicated presence and sustainability as defined by our customers.
We started the establishment and operation of wireless LAN installations by
M3-Connect GmbH
already in the year 2001 at a time when the WLAN technology was little known. With more than 500 hotels, many banks, airports, trade fair areas and other public buildings, M3 Connect meanwhile belongs to the largest wireless Internet service providers in the German-speaking region.
Another spin-off was intended to accommodate the rapid development and the associated marketing instruments in the sector of the Internet. The
e-dynamics GmbH
is the specialist for web intelligence. These technologies goes far beyond a customary web analysis, offering their customers interpretations and recommendations for action in the range of marketing and sales. The comprehensive rance of services covers strategy consulting, software integration and technical and professional support as well as training and coaching.
The nedeco GmbH,
the youngest child of the Scientific Computers Group, was established in order to complete this range. nedeco acts as a full-service provider, offering its customers everything from one source, beginning with the hardware platform and established standard applications to software development by customer order. Along with consulting, project management and development for key accounts, nedeco also consider themselves as a technology partner particularly for small and medium-sized companies in the Euregio, which require customised IT and communication solutions.
